Research Assistant — Intelligent Data and Systems (IDS) Lab, University of Houston.

I joined the Intelligent Data and Systems (IDS) Lab as a Research Assistant under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Feng Yan, a tenured Associate Professor in the Computer Science and Electrical & Computer Engineering Departments at the University of Houston. The IDS Lab conducts cutting-edge research at the intersection of Big Data, Machine Learning, and Computer Systems, with active work in areas such as Large Language Models (LLMs), large-scale distributed deep learning, AutoML/Neural Architecture Search, federated learning, MLaaS, and serverless computing. This role allows me to contribute to high-impact research published at top-tier machine learning and systems venues while working in a Carnegie R1 research environment.
